ADVERSE WEATHER POLICY
Students and parents are encouraged to check here frequently whenever bad weather is predicted.
CONDITION I
The studio is open and operating on a normal schedule. Inclement weather has been or is predicted to be in the area. Roadways may be hazardous. Parents and students are urged to use extreme caution while traveling to and from the studio. Belt Exams will be held if scheduled. Any worsening developments may result in class cancellations, so students are encouraged to check back frequently. Final Decisions will be made 30 minutes prior to class time.
CONDITION II
Classes are cancelled due to local school closings. Adverse weather has prompted the closing of Union County Public Schools or Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. In the event that either school system announces they are CLOSED, the studio closes by default. School delays will not result in studio closings. Please pay attention to local media outlets for information on school closings which can also be found by following the link below.
CONDITION III
Classes are cancelled due to inclement weather in the immediate vacinity of the studio. We have determined that the roads leading to the studio are extremely hazardous. Students and parents are urged not to drive.
